After the whiskey is fully mature, we transfer it into freshly emptied Port barrels where subtle notes of berry and chocolate emerge, complimenting the traditional bourbon flavor characteristics.The Port finishing process adds a viscous mouthfeel with notes of candied cherry, dried plums, berries and chocolate on top of the traditional bourbon flavor characteristics.
